Five insights from the Berkeley "AI for Executives" program
Currently, the most important question is not whether we will use AI. The most important thing is whether we are managing the organization in a way that it can adapt to it.

ANIMAS product and AI manager Betija Muižniece has completed the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business program "Berkeley AI for Executives". The program demonstrated how the role of management changes at a time when technological development exceeds traditional planning and decision-making cycles.
- Even an experienced professional can no longer be fully informed. Experience is still valuable, but it is not enough on its own. The ability to continuously learn and make decisions in uncertainty becomes crucial.
- It is necessary to regularly review what we measure. If the indicators do not change, but the environment does, the organization risks improving what no longer creates strategic value.
- The chosen solutions are not a long-term guarantee. AI models and platforms are rapidly evolving. The advantage is not in the specific tool, but in the ability to timely change the choice.
- Execution speed determines the outcome. It is important not only to identify opportunities but also to implement them quickly. The internal pace of the organization becomes a strategic factor.
- Organized data is a prerequisite. Without structured and accessible data, AI initiatives remain fragmented.
The era of AI requires a reassessment of management assumptions, performance indicators, and the pace of the organization. This is where the next competitive advantage is formed.
