AI Connect 2026: our most productive colleague is AI

What can we do today with AI that we wouldn't have even attempted a couple of years ago? We discussed this at AI Connect 2026.

Betija Muižniece shared in her presentation "Our most productive colleague is AI" how ANIMAS uses AI in everyday life: we create products and convenient tools for ourselves, work with data and integrations, automate processes, and look for what else we can stop doing manually. Laziness is the driving force of automation: if a task needs to be repeated over and over, it's a good reason to consider whether it can be automated.

Gatis Romanovskis spoke in the panel discussion "How AI is changing our lives, families, and what to expect in the future" about AI in a broader context – everyday life, the job market, and future skills. The more AI enters our daily lives, the more relevant questions about data, security, trust, and responsibility become. One example is the Diabetes Assistant, which arose from a very personal need.

One of the most important future competencies will be the ability to see what can be done with AI that we wouldn't have even attempted before.
